Your ideas on the new version are right on the money. I have google desktop and it's great for my massive email archives but ESP is how i launch programs and find files I have created. The extra criteria for narrowing searches will make it even more indispensible.
in the d:\alldoc\ folder I have a file called test.exe.
When I select a file in the d:\alldoc\test\ from one of the hits and select "Open Folder Containing" .. ESP tries to execute d:\alldoc\test.exe and does not open the folder d:\alldoc\test\

Just when I got most of the people I work with interested in ESP, it gets harder to download.
I hope you don't mind me having emailed them the installer.
I'm starting to catalogue the resources we (teachers) use, and ESP will be a key way everyone accesses the things they're after.
